In today’s episode David and I explore a standard ketogenic diet in comparison to a standard Western diet, and his latest project, BioDiet. You will learn the therapeutic benefits of ketosis and how this relates to brain health, cognitive function and the prevention of Alzheimer’s disease, otherwise known as type 3 diabetes, a disease triggered by insulin resistance in the brain. This is an incredible episode that really shows us the longer term negative impact of excess carbohydrate in the diet.
